This trio could well become known as "Have Guitars, Will Trave!" The guitars, and the players as well, have known one another since the early 1980's. Individually and collectively, the 3 musicians have played various styles of music in various bands over the years. You'll hear Hot Club music as well as swing of several kinds….from big band to western swing! Dave Hamilton, Mel Wilson, and Neil Bentley met in the 1980's when the 3 musicians were members of Ian Tyson's Chinook Arch Riders Band. Dave has played guitar professionally for over 30 years, and has been producing music in his Hamiltone Productions Studio since 1990. Over the years he has been required to play country, country-rock, pop, jazz and western swing so the man does know his way around music styles. Mel Wilson has played with Diamond Joe White, in addition to being a member of the Ian Tyson band. He teaches guitar, both in person and via computer, and has spent the past few years developing websites, which includes sites for music-oriented clients. Neil Bentley and Dave were with Dave Wilkie in the very first edition of the Great Western Orchestra many years ago. Neil also spent some time in bands led by Kelita and Ted Miller and was with George Fox for a while. He and Dave Hamilton have also backed Katy Moffatt on western Canadian tours, and Neil's past few years have been spent as a member of the orchestra providing music for Stage West dinner theatre.
